    • Hi Barry, My name is Ivalu Cacho. I am contacting you regarding your pics of Pedilanthus bahamensis. I study Pedilanthus in the Caribbean, and I am currently writing a paper on it. I have images of most of these, but no for P. bahamensis! Would it be possible for me to use your pics? This is an academic paper and there's no commercial or other interests. Of course, you'll be credited for the image. Please, let me know, and I am happy to send you the image I am working on so you can judge whether you'd be interested :) Many, many thanks! -Ivalu email: nicacho@ucdavis.edu

    • Dear Barry, I hope you do not mind me contacting you however I am currently researching images of various species of threatened conifers from the IUCN Red List, for ARKive and hope that you are able to help as I have seen a few of your images which I am keen to include on the ARKive website, with your permission. The species that I have found images of are: Afrocarpus usambarensis and Agathis silbae. I do not know whether you are familiar with ARKive, however in summary: ARKive - www.arkive.org - aims to raise awareness of the need for biodiversity conservation by using wildlife imagery. Films, photographs and audio recordings of the world’s animals, plants and fungi are being gathered into one centralised digital library. These important audio-visual records are being preserved and maintained for the benefit of future generations and are being made available to view via the ARKive website. It is ARKive's current aim to compile audio-visual records for the 16,000-plus species currently threatened with extinction, according to the World Conservation Union's (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species. We are looking for media (moving footage, still images and audio) to depict each species' life history as comprehensively as possible. In order for us to achieve this aim we need help from as wide a variety of media donors as possible. The ARKive website acts as a showcase for image providers, displaying copyright and contact details with every image and links to each media donor's own web activities. If you would be interested in getting involved please send me an email and I can send you further information. Many thanks for your time Best wishes Charlotte Young charlotte.young@wildscree n.org.uk ARKive Media Researcher www.arkive.org

    • Greetings, I'm so envious that you get to visit with Maureen and Mike Massara! I've been buying from them for a long time and visited their place when they lived in Ohio. They had some of their largest specimens planted right in the ground at that time in the Green house. Great people and maybe someday we'll get to travel down to florida to see the new green house they have. Thanks so much for showing the pictures!! Pamela

    • Hi Barrystock, if you don't mind, I'd REALLY like to ask you a few questions. I've purchased some open lots in Florida, and also live in Cooper City. I'm really interested in planting interesting trees. I happened to notice your Baobab tree pictures from the airport and Hollywood Circle, and I was wondering if you could answer some questions for me. If you don't mind could you maybe email me at tjaspers@dolphinstadium.c om or jasperst@dolphins.nfl.com ? Thanks!!!
