Dear Charlotte, many thanks for you comment in my Steam in Canada album. It was fun, believe me. We traveled first from Vancouver to Edmonton on a regular Canadian train via Jasper, and later in a Superdome car on a steam train pulled by a Royal Hudson engine from Calgary to Vancouver via Lake Louise and Kicking Horse pass. i will add mor pictures later . Greetings from Switzerland, Heinz

Dear Charlotte, That was a lovely allorgary that you gave me about the silver. How very true it is. It has happened to me several times just lately where good things have resulted from the mose unpromising of beginnings. Thank you for reminding me, God bless you both, hugs, Sheila.

Hallo Charlotte Thank you Twice. First for visiting my Libyan Album and secondly for sharing your Tombstone album. It remembers me my fabulous trip in your country. For your information it was 1983 (Yes) and I paid the Rand Mc Nally road atlas $ 5.95 I keep this atlas as a precious souvenir. See you later dear friend.

Thank you, Charlotte, for the nice comment you made in my album of Solomon! Solomon wasn't as skiddish today when I went out to feed him... he seemed to be more comfortable with me around. I just hope I can get him to sleep in the bed I fixed for him on the couch on my front porch... if he will just go in there to sleep at night, he'll be warm from the cold... I'm concerned about him making it through the winter. I send kisses to Moody! I wish you an amazing day, sweetie! Hugs, June

Hi there I’m a friend of Outlaw. He has a picture of a snow fence. It works by slowing down the wind. The snow is heavier than the air. Hence it begins to drop around the fence. One layer builds on another. Webshots member Jim Blevins blevins921

Hi, Thank you for commenting on my recent Outdoor POTD! It was a wonderful surprise to have that photo chosen. I haven't taken that train, but the Durango to Silverton ride is pretty nice right around the end of September. Take care, Ron

Hello Charlotte Thank you for your kind comments. You asked how did i get to photopoints on the Cumbres&Toltec RR. Well, i was on their annual photo freight train, a two day C&T RR experience, which made some of my best railroad photos ever. The pics on the Durango&Silverton however were made the hard way - hikig for hours in the animas canyon and waiting a lot. I am from Switzerland and used to great looking landscape, but these Colorado fall colors are just incredible. King regards, Heinz

Hi, Charlotte Thanks for your kind words, my eye is better now and honestly it was a scaring experience. Awaking up I have still pricklings and a runny eye but with some drops its better and about noon the problems are remioved till next day. Anyway no permanent damage is to fear. I hope that you have had a great time in New Mexico and Arizona and I’m looking forward for your pics. In an other lifetime I’ve been in Arizona and brought a visit to the highlights as Petrified Forest, Page Dam, Navajo and of course the grand canyon. It’s a great country and I love it. Greetings

Hi Charlotte, thanks for your visit and comments. You asked about the program I used for "The Magic That Is Autumn" - it is a "plug-in" for Photoshop made by Redfield called Fractalius. If you have Photoshop, you can download a 30 day free trial of Fractalius and "play" with it (it is "addictive"!) I am now experimenting with using it "minimally", but it is a very versatile program and provides a wide range of results. Hope this is helpful. Brian.

Hello Charlotte, Thank you so much for visiting my Libyan album and your interesting comments. The trip was really a challenge because we spend 9 days in the desert before we found tap water. Anyway it was a unique experience! We have a fantastic summer and I was working in my garden and pricked in my eye with the point of a courgette leave. Not a big problem at the moment but it went worse so I couldn’t watch TV or reading or using the pc for almost 10 days . Actually it’s in good progress. Have a nice week

Hi Charlotte. To answer your question, we did stand at the viewing center with a hundred other people for about an hour without seeing anything, then we had to go to make it home in time. All I got from it was a couple of good sky photos, or, at least, I think so, but have not gotten to them yet to see if they are worth keeping. Tiger

As September 11th approaches, Charlotte, I hope we can all take a moment to bow our heads in silence and prayer and remember all who were tragically lost on that horrific day in 2001! I have made a video tribute for 9/11 entitled "Where were you when the world stopped turning?", if you get a chance, please answer. GOD BLESS YOU & GOD BLESS THE USA!!! Warmest & Best Wishes, Barbara
