CONCERNING SPAMMERS. I wrote to webshots, who responded :”I have requested that these spammers be blocked from Webshots. We will be working to put in place security measures to reduce spammer activity in the future. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes. In the meantime, please send me the member name of spammers and I will block them from Webshots.” You also send the names of spammers (Help & Support ---> Send feedback). Thanks

I had a cat named Bootsie (named after the fashion model) that looked just about like your cat.

Hi Barb! Thanks so much for the info on shaping my doilies! I used to crochet with yarn. I made a couple of afgans and some scarves. I never was able to get the hang of the delicacy of the tiny stitches of lace and doilies, though. :o( Now I have neuropathy in my hands and cannot feel. Since I can't make them and don't get out to get any more, I collect pictures for my screensaver. Much less time consuming!;o) You are in my "window" a lot! Thanks for sharing! Cindy

Hello Barb! I just love doilies! I was searching for some pics for my Webshots desktop/screensaver and found your site! Pics are perfect for that. It has been said that my home reminds some people of their great grandmas house....A home just isnt a home without doiles no matter your age! I tried to learn how to crochet them (notice past tense). You really need to have talent as you have to do it. Most of my pretties were purchased at auctions and have been washed and dried flat. However, how do you make them hold their form? My guess is some kind of starch? I see a new baby has arrived. Congratulations! I'm in no hurry. Thanks! Cindy BTW--I live in Clark County! Kentucky...not WA~
