Hi Barb, and thank you for your comments on my Chrismon Tree album. You are absolutely correct; one specific couple put hours and hours into creating these meaningful ornaments. The special pearl beads were quite expensive and cannot be handled very much; the oil in our skin will damage them. ... Judy

Hi Barb---good to hear from you and thanks so much for your comment on my Cooper hawk photo. I was visiting my daughter in hanover, PA, walked out the front door and he was sitting on the roof across the street in really great light. I took a shot and approached for a closer one, and he took off right at me, swooped by about 5 feet away, and landed on another roof down the street. I was able to get 50 or so close-ups there, but the light wasnt good as you can see in the washed out sky in the photo. But for this bird, half a loaf was certainly good enough. Mike

Thank you for your message Barbara about my featured album. I am out of town right now and it was quite a surprise when I opened my email this morning and found dozens of ws guestbook messages ... I had no idea! I noticed when I went to the album that my original write-up on the pumpkin races had been chopped and deleted which is really a shame as I had two links to the pumpkin festival there. I can't really go back and get them and repost them from where I am now. But I must say it is kind of exciting to have a featured album ... something I never thought would happen.
