Art,
Thanks very much for your photos.
I was looking for pix of the Bismarck Sea and google led me to you. I put a comment on the photo of the ship burning, as my Dad was there....
Best regards
Art, we use photos with scripture verses in our Power Point announcements in Church. The problem is that so many of the ones available use fonts that are too small to read. Yours are exactly what I need but of course I can not download the pictures for use in Power Point. Is there any way I can do this? The pictures would only be used in the way I have specified. If it is possible please contact me at lhshowers2@juno.com. Thanks, Pastor Lou
Hi Art, I really like your Mexican Sunflower picture. I would like to paint it if that would be okay with you? If so, you can email me at rcmitchell75@hotmail.com. Best, Rob
Art I would like to download some of the pictures and would like to be your friend.

I have this picture hanging on the wall of my study. My father was the navigator of CVE-94 the Lunga Point. I was wondering if you could send me the full scanned image file. I only want to share it with my cousin who also served in the Navy and his son who served.

Thanks for your comment on my butterfly album. It's intresting to watch them. They shed their skin once while a catterpiller, then you can almost see them grow. Have a good day, Dwight
Thanks Art for the comments left on my albums... I love my garden, but hey! those deer... I will win this war, may still lose a battle or two...
I forgot to add this,
Oh, how refreshing to see your flower pictures on this 8 degree Farenheit morning!! :) My boys absolutely love your car and military albums - they've learned a great deal. Thank you so much!
Art, I just noticed your Danang album. I was there in 67/68 with Redhorse building the buildings. I was in the barracks next to the ones that went up. Many moving memories brought back.
Art, Thanks for the comments on my ultimate deer closeups. Actually, I have gained their trust over the years and my wife and I can stand right out in the open next to the fence behind our house. I have one 6 point that walks witin 3' and most of the deer are 15' to 20' away. I started with a camo blind but no longer need it.
Art, in your Danang album you show the burnt out electronics warehouse from Tet or 68. I was on the perimeter just south of that when it was struck that night. I could see the flames from the bottom of the fox hole I was in. Still remember that night. Greg Dunlap, 366th SPS K-9.
Hello Art, Just a quick note to thank you for the heads up on the full size and then F11 to view the best. It has been a big help! What do they say? You're never too old to learn. LOL - Thanks again, Your Western Michigan Webshots Friend, DeeAnne :)
Hello, your message to Yair made me smile, as I age each sentence I say starts with "I used to"
Finally I see someone using the fraze...have a great weekend..Marra
Hi Art
I posted a message on your photo of the Marine RF-4B Phantom. I'm not sure how to e-mail you but hope you respond. I have some more info on that rocket attck you might find interesting. Where they came from (Cache in Laos) etc. Also there was a Viet Cong soldier riding in a ARVN vehicle calling in plane(in revetments on the ground) locations on a radio prior to the "Snoopy" taking them out on the other side of hill 327 which is why your side got hit so bad with rockets and our side got the bomb dump explosion. We lost a few planes to rockets but they concentrated on your side due to the trajectory I think. There was supposed to be an ARVN unit holding the location the rockets came from. Luckily your Air Force Major refused the "No Free Fire order" and fired on the little bastards 37 minutes after they started. Welcome to Vitnam indeed.
One of my neigbors from Indiana was a Marine Combat Photog who looked me up about three weeks after the attack, after they had followed the unit to the border at Laos. There they saw a soldier - Asian - about 6 feet tall wearing a Russian style Pith helmet. Probably an advisor. I've met weveral people since 67 that were there if you want to know a little more.
I loved you albuns of flowers, they are awesome. Also im happy to see we have some of these flowers here, in my country, thanks for sharing.
