  • Hello angus1745, We are impressed by your photos of the radio central on Long Island. The radio station at Long Island was the receiving station for our radio station in Grimeton, Sweden. Today the radio station is a World Heritage site; with a long wave transmitter from the 1920s constructed by Ernst Alexanderson and can still be taken in to operation. We who are writing, Jennie and Emma, work as guides on the World heritage Grimeton Radio station and like to come in contact with you for further discussions regarding your photos.   • angus great photos of radio central , i grew up in the area during the 70's wonder if you know much about the black and white photos and the marconi shack , that used to be in front of joseph a edgar elementary school . it looks like it has been moved thanks scott
