  • Yes, Posada de Santiago is a wonderful place to stay! Well,I don't know where you're from and if you've been to Guatemala before, but my advice is... leave at least an hour before the time you think you should leave, anywhere you go in the country :) We got soooo lost! :) The hotel's website is this one http://www.posadadesantiago.com/ and you have to email them to make reservations. Do give them a credit card number when you make the reservations though, cause we wanted "La casita" and the guy said they couldn't afford to hold it since we hadn't given our card number, and we were lucky that they had an opening... But yes, it's a pretty good place :)

  • i'm traveling to santiago atitlan to volunteer at the hospitalito in a few months. is the posada hotel a good place to stay? any other suggestions or advice?
