I requested some information sometime ago from the CAF and was quite impressed with the information, and that they also wrote me back!! I had a couple of questions on the B29, with two photos of the craft I offered to copy for them-said they had plenty of photos already, but were most appreciative that I had asked, but to keep what I had and I have. Just finished a two year write-up on my father's war, his momentos from a WWII navigator's standpoint. Had some help from a B29 mechanic's view along the way. prospector 7; How far is the cabins and outhouse from the campground at the end of middle quartz road, taking the middle quartz stage road? I rode down the trail from alpine tunnel road at sherrods loop sign, but turned around at the cabins. after I got gas in pitkin, I went up middle quartz road to the camp ground and seen the sign for the stage road. At home on the internet, I seen your pictures, thanks for posting.I camp and ride in Taylor Park except the ride to alpine tunnel, and would like to ride more trails in pitkin. Thanks.
