Thanks for your answer on the long cloud pic - there is a rare long cloud (the Morning Glory) that appears in Sept/Oct on our tropical northern coast - haven't seen it yet but still hoping .... and your shot reminded me of all I've read of the one here. Appreciated your comment.... Lorraine
I know that most people look at a beautiful blue sky and marvel at it but a few years back I told a friend that a blue sky with nothing in it is boring, that you needed clouds to bring it to life and give it substance. They don't even have to be massive clouds, little wisps like in a lot of your pictures really do a sky right. Keep up the good work and I will check out the other site you mentioned.
Sharon
To all my Webshots friends...
Sorry for the generic mass email, but I recently returned from a trip to Taiwan, and would like to share my photos with you! Feel free to check them out.

Hello Windsor, just thought I'd check in and say hi, hope you're doing well! I did check out a little bit of the new site you mentioned - it looks like it's definitely your cup of tea - lots of great mountain trekking shots! But I'm so used to Webshots it's hard for me to get comfortable elsewhere and I do miss seeing the results of all your special hiking trips here. We had a terrible ice storm here this week which at least got me out of work for a couple of days - but paid for them today when we went back- I'm pooped. Take care and have a nice weekend. Kathy
Hi Windsor! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We did not leave Florida this year and we are having 80 degree weather every day! It is not feeling like Christmas but I am not complaining! I don't like being cold and everywhere but here got hit hard!
I look forward to seeing many more great mountain shots from you this year!
Merry Christmas Windsor ! Hope you have your best holiday season ever and that the new year takes you to many new wondrous sights to behold! Peace! Kathy
A Merry Christmas to you Windsor! Thanks for all the fantastic scenes this past year of the wonderous Sierra's geography! And "Touching The Void," that film production was sure impressively done of this story! I marveled at the main guy's will to survive confronted with such awesome difficult circumstances --- 'all-by-himself.' How many people have such depth of will! Keep your eye on the trail - and your nose to the wind! - Gary
Hi Windsor, Thanks for turning me on to that mountain website. Very cool! Have a great winter and stay warm. I guess you won't be climbing around too much longer up there right?
Hey Windsor! I'll definitely be sure to check out your new site as soon as I can - yes, I did get out West back in the Spring(such a long time ago!), but work has been so crazy all I want to do when I get home is stare at the wall. Hoping to do more uploading when winter sets in. Sounds like you've been keeping quite busy yourself - just keep on taking those fantastic pictures! Have a great week, my friend! Kathy
Jut visited! A wonderful place for Mountain lovers like you. Your collection (163 pics) is Awesome! I will share your page among my friends (http://www.summitpost.org/user_page.php?user_id=39033)
Best regards, and thanks for your visit to my album
My dear Windor! Thanks for your invitation to see the site Summitpost.org.I will do it and then comment to you. Best regards my friend. By the way do you have a profile in FACEBOOK if yes I wanna be your friend there.
Hello Windsor, just letting you know I appreciate (as always!) your comments on my Grasshopper Mtn hike. We have two large wildfires burning in our area and the highway east was closed unexpectedly so this was an adlib hike since we were all dressed up with nowhere to go.
Richard
Hi Windsor! Thanks for your message, it's always good to hear from you. I'm afraid I've been very lazy about uploading more trip pics this summer but will probably get more energetic as cold weather comes to keep me inside. My power has been out for a whole week because of the huge wind storms we had here last Sunday, remnants of Hurricane Ike - the whole city and outlying areas got zapped bigtime. You don't realize how important electricity is until you HAVE to do without for awhile! Hope you had some great trips recently and took your usual superb pictures! Take care - your pal Kathy
Hey Windsor, been a while since I've dropped you a message. Just thought I'd stop by and say hi. I hope everything's going well with you. Have a great rest of the week!

Hello Windsor. Thanks for visiting and your comments are always appreciated. We are trying to hike as much as possible in the Cascades right now as snow will be here soon. Stay tuned...
Richard
Hi Windsor, Glad you got to visit my Blue Ridge mtns. Album. Yes, I read a book about them and the history. Very fascinating! Oh yes, I forgot about the smoke out your way. I heard about it though since all my family live out there. Amazing how widespread the fires have been! Well I am sure you will make up for lost time as soon as possible! Have a great one anyway!
Hello. Thank you for nice comments for my new photos. There will be more from the same subject soon. Just have to find more time. :) Like your photos again. Keep taking them.
Beata/Vila
Thank you for the comments. I had not had time to get many titles or comments attached to the album, but here it is for the one you commented on. "Cathedral Rocks and the view to the Northeast from Camp Muir on Mount Rainier."
