Hoi Michel, Wat een verrassing voor me dat je Nederlander blijkt te zijn. Ik heb ook je Italiaanse werk bekeken omdat ik je manier van fotograferen heel fascinerend vind. Ik krijg de indruk dat je grotendeels vanaf de grond fotografeert en die tijd heb ik gehad. Toch kan ik me dat heel goed indenken en ook het voor de vuist wegschieten (met een thema in je achterhoofd?) van dayly life. Je springt er echt uit bij Webshots. Ik ben ook geen bloemetjes en poezenfotografe en wil iets laten zien met mijn foto's dus leef ik me uit tijdens reizen. De Marokkofoto's zijn trouwens gedigitaliseerd en nu ik digitaal fotografeer doe ik dat met meer lef. Er zijn ook mensen die kunnen van niets een prachtige serie maken en daar heb ik ook bewondering voor. Ik kom nog wel eens neuzen in 1 van je albums. Groetjes, Heleen

Dear Michael: I love your pictures. I, too, was in Israel in May of 09 but unfortunately became very ill. I do not remember much of the trip due to the numerous mini-strokes I had. As a part of my therapy, I am using photographs of the places I went to help me remember. Sounds like a strange therapy but it is working.
