  • Hello Friend, Sept 22nd is the first day of Autumn here in the USA and Summer once again comes to an end.   • hello my friends. :) what a busy month this has been for me here at webshots and i want to thank YOU, because without your wonderful support the joy i feel wouldnt be possible. with so many wonderful comments that have been left for me throughout the year on the pics you enjoyed the most, i was able to mark reaching 500,000 views with 2 new albums at the end of 2007, 1 of forrest pics, and 1 of various pics mostly containing shots of natures beauty. also, christmas is my most favorite holiday and it was only fitting to create some new wallpapers/holiday cards and share them with all of you. i am so glad so many of you are enjoying them and i really appreciate the wonderful response to my invitation to one image especially that i sent as a personal message to each one of you. penny adams was so kind as to select this happy holidays wallpaper as a feature in pets on christmas eve, thank you penny. :) what truly touched my heart was that many of you came by AGAIN to visit this popular image i created just to congratulate me and it truly lifted my spirit and warmed my heart. thanks for making this holiday for me one with joy, and friendship. i feel truly blessed to be around so many wonderful folks. thank you for your kindness and for your continued support by your recent visits to my albums, pics, and/or messages page, as i am always happy to hear from you.   • hi lauren! :) just wanted to drop in and wish you a merry christmas and happy new year! thanks for your visit last week and for all the lovely comments you left, im so glad you enjoy some of my work. if your interested i created 2 new albums that you are welcome to take a look at. one i just uploaded today of tonights sunset at bayhead beach. i always see such beautiful colors at sunset but never captured them for an album because as you know, the sun rises here not sets on our beaches, being im not a morning person i never can catch a beautiful sunrise so i try my eye on sunsets instead. lol! ;) this is a different perspective i think but i hope it does get well received. the other is the best of forrest pics that were in all different albums. i selected based on what people respond to the most and ofcourse stands out from the rest in my view as well. sorry to be going on and on, i didnt mean to but im having a rambling moment i guess. :) again, happy holidays to you and i hope to see some new work from you soon. your friend, angie m.

  • hello lauren and thanks for the invite to become friends and for accepting my invitation to view my albums. im glad you enjoyed some of my pics and i appreciate the kind remarks. to answer your question in my "breaking waves" album, the pics were taken on mantoloking beach. i have gone many times to view hurricane storms affecting the beach in the past [nothing too dangerous of course] but i have never been so lucky to be able to capture such wonderful shots as the storms usually have wiping winds making sand and sea spray quite a challenge just to stand in let alone take pics. i do think this time all the elements were in my favor by having the storm far enough away off shore and a west wind. it was just so much fun to witness and enjoy. :) forrest is my faithful GSD companion and my model. i always enjoy having shoots with him as you can tell from my many albums. :) i just enjoy capturing all his expressions and his personality. but his company is what i truly cherish the most. do stop by again and i will be back soon to view some more of your work. have a good evening! angie m.
