Dear Roberto I am doing OK. I feel the little fella round me all the time but I don't mind, we had 14 wonderful years together but I do find walking alone a very lonely walk. I had 12 days in hospital end of June with pneumonia and bowel problem but all is well now. took a lot out of me and Ed was well looked after by a friend who came to the house 3 times a day and took him out walking etc. I am getting on with what I have to do but some days are worse than others. Hi Roberto - Thanks for viewing my Iguassu album. To answer your question, we were there in 1987 (long before digital cameras). Flew Varig airline (excellent service, beautiful flight) from New York to Rio de Janeiro; a few hours later to Foz de Iguassu. From there by Cruzeiro airlines to Buenos Aires. Several days later (by Varig) back to Rio. About 3-4 days later Varig took us back to New York. It was a wonderful trip to both countries with wonderful memories. Best wishes - Jim

Hi Roberto, thanks for your note and concern, the very hot weather last week was in the south, and it wasn't so bad where I live. Now the hot weather has moved north and tomorrow we expect 44 degrees. I have air conditioning and live close to the ocean, so I shall survive. I haven't seen the movie "Australia", I'm glad that you saw it and enjoyed the photography. I want to revisit the places where it was filmed and get my own photos of that beautiful part of the country. Today I visited one of your albums and enjoyed your wonderful photography. Dear Roberto, Thanks for dropping in, it has been a horror time with all the heat reaching to 45.3 deg. traintracks buckled stopping all rail travel, power went off and people getting cranky. I did feel sorry for those who rely on rail for homebound trains, after working hard all day to have to stand and wait in the heat for substitute travel arrangements. Ed and I stayed home for almost a week except for a quick short walk each morning for him to do what a dog has to do, then home and stay there with the A/C. and fans on floor for Ed. He is OK and so am I but Roberto I hope I never have to go through it again.... Hope all is well with you, take care and Hugs, Shirley
