A large group of rosette forming succulents. Most are stemless, rangin in size from over 1 foot to a massive 8 feet in diameter. Significant is their flower stalk, 20 feet and more. Habitat ranges from south-west USA to south Mexico.

Welwitschia Mirabilis

An unusual succulent of dark green leaves attached to a crown-like centre, found in Namibia and Angola. It starts life as a seed, producing two leaves which will continue to develop all its life. There are also separate male and female plants.

CAUDICIFORMS

In and Around My Greenhouse
