Taste of Romania

Visiting Romania was like going back in time. It felt so natural and so unspoilt...The people, the brightly coloured houses, the monasteries, the food and the countryside left a long lasting impression on me...especially the great coffee...enjoy!

Villaricos, Andalucia Spain

Villaricos is a little fishing community with a lively harbour in Andalucia. The coastline sheltered by the dramatic Sierra Almagrera mountains and the sun seem to shine all the time...well almost!

Cape Coast, the capital of the Central Region was the centre of the Slave trade. Since 1471 the Europeans arrived to trade in gold, spices, ivory, they built Cape Coast Castle and Elmina castle to house their merchendise......

Ghana, Orphange in Ofaakor

Volunteering in an orphanage in Ghana was a great experience. The living conditions were very primitive, cooking outdoor, no running water, nothing to ease the heat and humidity and very basic food. But the children were amazing....No toys or games to pla

Ullswater, Lake District

Miao, Ethnic Minority, China

China have 56 ethnic minority tribes and the Miao is one of them. These images taken at a village wedding in Guizhou Province. The bride is a local girls who left the village to seek her future in Shanghai.
