Scanned photos from 1983 on, showing how my flock developed from the two I ewes I bought in 1983, and their three ewe lambs born that year. Some photos are poor or have faded, but illustrate a point for which no other photo exists.

Colour inheritance in Soay sheep - in progress

Sheep, lambs and farm cat

Soay, Portland and Shetland sheep and lambs, and the occasional farm cat. I have kept Soay sheep since 1983. My unusual white and piebald Soays are purebred. Latest update page 8 onwards.

Vapour trails at Dawn and Dusk

I was amazed as I watched this dawn develop, at the number of planes that flew over, and the way their trails built up the cloud. Photos 1 -11 look east, 12-18 show the sky further north. Then on other occasions I saw similar clouds build-up in the west a

More of God's artwork in the sky. These are the best of 2007's dawn and dusk photos. Dawn on 6th April makes delightful wallpaper which does not obscure icons.
