Cape Blanco Lighthouse

This album is a photo-tour of the Cape Blanco Lighthouse and the high bluff it stands on. The lighthouse is the most westernly lighthouse in the lower 48, is Oregons highest lighthouse at 256 feet above sea level, and is 4 m. north of Port Orford.

Cape Arago Lighthouse

Cape Arago Lighthouse is located just south of the mouth of the Coos River near the fishing village, Charleston. It was illuminated in 1866 but has been rebuilt several times. It originaly had a 4th order lens. It is not open to the general public.

West Michigan Lighthouses (USA)

A trip home to SW Michigan in September 2007, turned out to be a most enjoyable trip! The weather was gorgeous, fall colors were starting to show, and I was able to photograph most of the lighthouses on the south and central shores.
