Helen's Flower Beds

Snow in Baton Rouge

We got 3.50 inches of Snow on Dec 11th. This was the first recordable Snowfall in Baton Rouge since 1989 and equaled the record Snowfall of January 23rd 1940. Friday morning we still had our blanket of snow.

Gustave in Baton Rouge Labor Day

About 6AM the weather rolled in. Wind gusts and rain now. Everything outside is secured for 100 mph winds. Winds got up to 91 mph. Lots of Tree Damage but none excvept four trees and a broken, crushed frnce at my house.
