South Beach Friendly Dishes

Kitty's Album

A vet friend of ours gave us our kitty in Jan. 2005. Three months later, this 'free' kitten had cost us so much at the vet's that we named her Platinum! We fell in love with her and here she is to tell her own stories. Newest pix at back of album.

ReDesign--Guest Bedroom Makeover

With our 10 yr old granddaughter flying in for a visit next month, we decided to give our girls' former bedroom a makeover. Watching HGTV, we thought it would be a breeze--and it was! Spending less than $200., here's the results.

Baker Cemetery, 1855, Decker Prairie Area, Montgomery County, Texas

This small cemetery is located in the Decker-Prairie/Rosehill area of Montgomery County. Oldest stone found was death-dated 1918 however, see comment below by a viewer. Bakers are listed on the memorial but no stones for them were located.

Zilker Botanic Garden Visit

Zilker Botanical Garden is located on the south bank of the Colorado River near downtown Austin. Its diverse topography is especially suited to depicting different habitats and displaying an array of native, hybrid and exotic plants.
