Our First family holiday outside of Europe. We stayed at Port El Kantaoui. We visited Kairouan, El Jem and Monastir. El Jem was used to make the coliseum for the film "Gladiator".

Stratford Upon Avon Butterfly Farm, 15 August 2008

Our first trip to Stratford Upon Avon and spent a while in the butterfly farm and a 30-min trip on the river. The camera did not really cope with taking photos of the insects etc in their vivariums.

Duxford "Flying Legends", 12 July 2008

A rather changeable day at Duxford for the Flying Legends Air Show, but very enjoyable. 3 B-17s including the "Liberty Belle" all the way from the USA! One of the premier airshows in Europe!

Shuttleworth Collection, Old Warden Park, Biggleswade

We had a wonderful time exploring the 8 hangars of aircraft and vehicles. There was plenty to see and do for all the family, including the Swiss Garden, The Bird Of Prey Centre and a playground for the children.
