Enjoying a Rain-soaked Park

In Aug 2009, for the first time I visited Pasig Rainforest Park, & under pouring rain. Thought my day was ruined, but surprisingly, photos turned out OK since most of my subjects took on a rather refreshing "wet look" - from boys to flowers & trees!

Charming Lake Buhi Resort

My second visit to Lake Buhi in Sep. 2009 (at Lake Buhi Resort) proved memorable. Before, I never thought there was a world-class tourist facility in the area. From here one can trek, boat, fish, mountain-climb & sightsee Itbog Twin Falls.

A Walk with Artist Duddley Diaz

On Sep. 25, 2009, I spent an afternoon with artist, sculptor Duddley Diaz, as he annotated his works from his childhood in 1968 all the way to his latest art piece in 2009. Needless to say, it was an awesome afternoon delight!

Wakeboarding at Camsur Watersports

It was late, cold & dreary that rainy afternoon as we breezed through Camsur Watersports Complex. Weather may have been dreadful but that didn't stop folks to go there and have water fun! I promised myself in MacArthur fashion ... I shall return!

"Hibiscus on the Sleeping Shores"

These lovely hibiscus gems were taken from a garden exhibit held at the Quezon City Orchidarium in Aug. 2009. The poem I used here is about boredom in an afternoon, and how that spell is broken by the brilliant colors of the hibiscus blooms.

Tulay Buhangin, Padre Burgos

I had no idea before that a thriving community existed on a small stretch of sandbar locally known as Tulay Buhangin (or sand bridge) - until I visited the place last Aug 2009. I was impressed by the numerous mangroves along its calm shores.
