Heceta Head Lighthouse, Oregon

This lighthouse was named after the Spanish Explorer Don Bruno de Heceta. It towers 205 ft above the Pacific Ocean and it is a favorite of the Oregon Lighthouses because of the amazing view of the ocean. The 1st light was lit by Andrew Hald. on March 30,

Our annual visit (we started this when we first moved here five years ago) actually was in 2 trips. The 1st visit was cold and rainy and the turnout not too great, but was made up by the second visit, with lots of sunshine...

Cleft of the Rock Lighthouse, Oregon
