Major Thomas William Brice, 6th SC Regt, Co D

Son of Dr. Walter Brice, Thomas William Brice was born November 22,1841. He was attending Erskine College when the Civil War broke out. Soon he enlisted in Wade Hampton�s Legion at Columbia, transfering later to the 6th Regt SCVI.

Members of Bethel Baptist Church, Micah Jenkins SCV Camp, Thomas Caldwell SCV Camp and the 6th Regiment SCVI Reenactor Organization came together on June 19, 2004 to cleanup and restore the old headstones of the original church cemetery.

Potomac River Crossing - 2002

North and South Carolina Reenactors recreate A.P. HIll's 17-mile march from Harpers Ferry to Sharpsburg. The Potomac river had to be waded across at Pack Horse Ford just as A.P. Hill and his troops did to reach the battle at Sharpsburg.
