A few days visit to the ancient walled city of York in England. What a fantastic City packed with lots to do, old houses, fantastic shops, incredible museums and of course York Minster. So fantastic was the City we revisited in Easter 2007.

Camping in Dundonnell and the Fisherfield Forest.

Elaine had never been rough or wild camping before so we decided to go into one of the wildest areas of Scotland. Between Loch Maree and Loch Broom in Wester Ross lies a great tangle of wild mountain country. Date of walk - 3rd July to 7th July.

Glen Cannich Camping

Our second wild camping trip of the Summer. Glen Cannich is one of the great glens west of Inverness. Situated in the remote hinterland of southern Ross-shire these are an extremely remote chain of mountains awkward for a 1 day expedition.
