String Quilt (king) or Reducing a Fabric Stash

Before I can buy new fabric, I need to make room for it by using up some of the fabric I've saved which has been leftover from other projects. I decided to make a king-sized string quilt.

This is a project in the Carol Doak Yahoo Group for paper foundation piecing. Rather than send a center to another person to do the next round, each person keeps his/her own center, but adds the subsequent rounds according to Carol's specifications.

Carol Doak (Yahoo Group) Blocks of the Month

These blocks began on Carol Doak's Yahoo Group in September, 2007. The blocks were set on point using triangles with an insert of Unit 39 from Carol Doak's "Simply Sensational Nine Patch" book. The finished quilt will be approximately 49.5" x 66".
