Western Railway Museum

Located near Rio Vista, CA, the Western Railway Museum is a "living" museum full of operating electrified (overhead) railway equipment. Currently runs on 5 miles of the original Sacramento Northern mainline.

SCSME Excursions - LA Union Station

On March 13, 2004, members of SCSME (South Coast Society of Model Engineers) took the Surfliner from Goleta to LA Union Station, specifically to ride the length of MetroRail's newly-opened Gold Line to Sierra Madre Villa.

Jennifer Smaw - Jim Reed's Eduardian Wedding

On May 15, 2004, Jennifer Smaw wed Jim Reed in a ceremony styled after the Eduardian Period. All guests were invited to come in period dress, and were entertained by music and food that were appropriate to the event.
