Thank you for your comments, please note, the only albums that are made of multiple exposures are, Water in Motion, Bracketed exposures and 1812, otherwise they are what I shot as a one of shot, just cleaned up in Photoshop, and you are right I should make more of an effort with the horizon line, I do have a problem with the 18-70 lens wanting to put a curve in the horizon, need to look at that, I'm blown away with what other are doing on webshots, this is my second site with then, been there for years, didn't even know that they had a creative challenge, found it by chance, and now there is a lot of interest in my images. Marjia!! Oh my!!! This is just stunning and captures the power of the ocean and the lovely shades of pink and lavendar in the sky. How incredible this image is as a screen-saver, one can really see how magistic it is. The lovely colours of the sunset reflecting off the water and those waves reaching for the sky. Just breath-taking!

Oh Maria!!! This is an absolutely dreamy image!! It is so beautiful!! My God, it is so pretty!! I love the waves and the soft pink colours and highlights!! Thank you so much for your visit and wonderful notes on my new Maui collection, and for your kind wishes. I am so happy to be home!! It is so wonderful and the air is so fresh and sweet!! I actually wept tears of happiness when I landed on the island and walked out into the cool night air at Kahului. It is wonderful!! You asked about my lens. I primarily use my Canon Ultrasonic 28-135mm with image stabilizer. I have shipped about 50 boxes from Alaska to Maui, and my desktop and tripod are enroute, so I am using my laptop for uploading. I don't have my Corel Paint Shop Pro XI software on this computer and only have a simple software program for postprocessing my images. I really don't like the effects for adjusting curves and contrasts on this software and was disappointed to see last night as I was adding my copyright signature copyright text to a couple of the images it removes my camera data. I went into properties on that program PhotoStudio 5.5 and cannot find a way to turn it on to retain it. So now I am simply making a copy of the original of course, and then right clicking on the properties to add my name and keywords into the EXIF data, then locking to protect the image. I am basically uploading them straight from the camera with no processing, so it will be a challenge to adjust my camera settings as true as possible so the original image is the best that it can be as it is. It is all I can do until my desktop arrives. So the most recent images I am uploading into Awakening in Paradise ~ Maui Hawai'i have my original camera data on them. This is one of the better sunsets I've seen, with the dramatic crashing of the wave like cymbals clashing to the closing of a symphonic piece...you have such a gift of capturing vision and color - at least in what you share with us who love the beauty of His creation!
