Hi again, Brenda!!! This is a fabulous photo! We have these little guys in Maryland too ... I've always called them "hummingbird bees" because of their long ... um ... noses? haha ... anyhow, how clever of you to find out their real names ... and to get such fabulous picturs of them!!! Love this shot, I finally got a picture of one last month, it was like shooting a butterfly with the hiccups because it never landed on the flower. Excellent shot you have here, George P.S. I thought I already posted a comment here but I didn't see it, sorry if it shows up twice.
