Album Info:

The Church of Santo Stefano, on the left bank of the Parma River, is ancient in origin and was already a parish church in 1582. Although restored by Ferdinando di Borbone, it was closed to worship after his death because the religious confraternity taking care of it could no longer manage the expenses for its upkeep. Over time it became badly deteriorated, and was even used as a storehouse for a century. It was reconsecrated in the 1970s after opportune restoration.
