Arie, Congratulations on winning the Challenge! The composition is spot on.. the main boat is in the right spot, I love the teracotta colours and that green choppy sea. The perspective draws the eye along the wharf to the grey clouds in the distance and those glorious sunbeams. I even like the roller bladers and the scooters in the foreground for interesting details. Excelent capture of the light and atmosphere. Well deserved number 1! Do you have a word in Dutch for "stimmungsvoll" . In English one might say impressive, but it is not the same. It is a wonderful shot - great colors, great buildings; but what really makes it so good and feeli is the rough water and sky. The yacht looks very expensive, like belonging to a millionnaire.
