Hi- I just downloaded your favorite peony shot and edited it for my desktop... I wish I had smellavision for this one... Don't you just love fashioned peonies with that intoxicating scent! Look at our one cat left. I plan to get two more after George is gone even if I have to fly them down to FL part of the year and rent a whole house for three months. I can't have a life without kitties. Thanks for your lovely photos. I meet unintroduced friends and look over their shoulders when I peer through their lenses. Sometimes I meet their pets too!

MaryAnn, Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on my photos! I can tell you that you really have made my day! Let me say that your red lighthouse is one of those perfect shots as well! The colors and composition are just a masterpeice! I can't wait to see your 3 for Friday! I have gotten in a weird habit of always posting mine early for some reason, I guess it's the same thing as I do at work, lol...I am always early there too...anyway, you have a great week, and I will be back tommorrow! Thanks for the comment on the picture of the couple. The young man is my best friend's son. He was a senior in high school this year, and that is his girlfriend - they are dressed for the senior prom. The picture was photoshopped for the huge acne mess in the middle of his forehead. Gotta love photoshop! Thanks again. Diana

Hi. I think your red lighthouse would be a good entry in a contest held by a photo magazine. If you would like the info email me at morr1970@msn.com. Please put Webshots friend in the title. I will send you the info. I'm entering a barn photo. Lynn

MaryAnn, my dear... really you was at Innsbruck the past two weeks? wow.. It is a beautiful town, isn't it? I loved it so much and have several albums to be still posted... Where were you housing? Did you enjoy your trip? Thank you too for your so kind comments on my "3 photos a week" and, by the way, my chrystal box was simply mirroring in a black marble table behind the window. And as I noticed many times, the reflections often are more sharp than the original objects. I love playing with lights and reflections, you know it. I'm glad that you enjoy my pics. Love. Claudia

Hi Mary Ann, thanks for your visit and comment on my Ram and Ewe photo. It was taken in Anza Borrego Desert State Park in southern California. There is a beaufiful hike up a native palm canyon and the sheep come down to the stream for water. They are wary but somewhat used to the people as this is a very popular hike during the winter. All the best, Carole

Mary Ann, I hope you did enjoy my comments on your barn. Sometimes I just go on and on. But when something like this comes up it really brings back those great memories that so many people even those my age never got to experience and I wouldn't have traded any of those memories of my Grandparents and that old farm for any mansion any where. We lived in town and I went there on weekends and sometimes I rode a horse with one of their young men who worked some for them into the school bus line. He went to high school and I went on to grade school and after I went home to my house, he went back to the farm, retrieving the horse pastured at a neighbors. After we moved to Ohio I went there and spent the summers. I loved every minute of it.

Hello Mary Ann, I will have an album from China ready by tomorrow. We had private guide with a car all the time and our hotel was about half an hour walk from Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. How long do you plan to stay? You need lots of time because everything is so huge. For example: Forbidden City is 720000 sq meters with 800 buildings so you can imagine how hard it is to see it all in a short trip. Beijing surprised me the most. It is nothing I imagined it to be. Very modern, vibrant, incredibly clean (16 million people) and it never sleeps. Unique buildings everywhere and traffic like you've never seen it before. Have fun, hugs, Tenia

Mary Ann, Dragonflies are everywhere. You just have to be looking for them. I am sure you have them too. I just relax on my front porch by our small fish pond and they come. If I am real lucky I can slowly move to within 3 feet of them, turn omy camera to macro and zoom. As for the other insects, I see them when I water my plants and again if I'm lucky they stay there until I get back with my camera. Here is a site for you on Michigan Dragonflies. It also gives two other places to look. http://insects.ummz.lsa.umich.edu/MICHODO/MOS.html Love, Patsy
