Thank you for the comments. I had not had time to get many titles or comments attached to the album, but here it is for the one you commented on. "Cathedral Rocks and the view to the Northeast from Camp Muir on Mount Rainier."

Hey there! Guess you're in the wild this weekend (and enjoying every moment I know!) Sounds like you're in for quite a trek if you're doing both parks. Can't wait to see your photos. Unfortunately won't be near your part of California this time - would love to see that area of the country again, it's so awesome - never can squeeze as many places in as I'd like - but believe me, I do try! I definitely have hopes of visiting it again in the future, that is, if I'm ever able to enjoy a road trip again after this one (with gas skyrocketing the way it has!) Hope to check out your latest shots soon as life settles down again. Take care

Hello, I was looking at my previous message to you which began with "thank you for your kind cameras" I think I meant "kind comments" I'm not usually that incoherent! Any, thanks once again for visiting my Dog Mountain album. It was a stunning hike and gave us a taste of the mountains, which are generally inaccessible for hiking until June or so. As you surmised, the hike was tough and I will partake of the box of Cliff Bars you so generously awarded me! Richard

Wow! Great Windsor, that you're able to get out and about in the upcoming beautiful spring weather again to your favorite stomping grounds. Looking forward to seeing more of your amazing photo treks! I noticed you have another new album I haven't had a chance to check out yet, but will soon. And thanks for all the nice comments - much appreciated! Winter has really outstayed it's welcome around here - seems to rain constantly now(I know! - makes pretty flowers and all but, Sheesh! Enough already!) I'm just now trying to get my act together on vacation, have to get some serious planning underway soon. You have a splendid week ahead, my friend!

Hi Windsor! Just a quick note. I FINALLY posted a new album (it's been a while). Titled "A Walk in the Park", it highlights the 9th largest municipal park in the USA, Bidwell Park in Chico, CA. If you like flowers you'll enjoy this album. Thanks and have a great day! ~Jeff

Hi Windsor, I'm so envious of your gorgeous inspiring view, just outside your window! You lucky duck! I have a view of a parking lot and noisy street! That's okay, it just whets my appetite to see as many great scenic places whenever I'm able. "Cubes" seems to appreciate the surroundings too! Have a great weekend!

Hello, Thanks for your kind cameras and I am glad you enjoyed our backpack trip in the North Cascades. That was our first trip there and it was so scenic that it won't be our last! We normally hike closer to home in Oregon. We went through your neck of the woods last summer on our way from Big Sur. We used to live in Watsonville which is sort of in your area and it's always nice to hear from friends in that area. Take care and happy hiking!

Hi Windsor, so glad to hear from you - it was swell of you to stop by with all your encouraging remarks! I hope you're feeling better - that old man winter can sure create havoc sometimes along with the frosty beauty. Yep, I'm anxious for spring to get here too - I've decided I'm going to go for broke (literally) and by hook or by crook I HAVE to have a western vacation this year. I don't do anything adventurous like you tho'. Just getting away from it all and seeing different scenery usually satisfies me. Probably spending a few days along the ocean in Yachats at some point. I know you'll love seeing Grand Canyon and Utah - it's the Wild West - what's not to love?!! Take care and keep in touch, Kathy

Thanks for commenting on my vacation shots. I enjoyed seeing your lovely California mountain pictures, having been to many of those locations when I lived there. I'll be looking forward to more!

PS: Forgot to thank you for the facts about distance and water considerations for negotiating that Death Valley terrain you spelled out for me. I appreciate such facts because - I'll definitely hike that path in my imagination! It would sure be one grand experience to actually, physically do it! Thank YOU ! Gary

Hey, thanks for the feedback on my LLakes Valley pics. No those were not my LLamas. I just ran across them as they were grazing in a small meadow. You commented that my photos appear a bit dark. I have been wondering about that. They look fine on my monitor, but I was curious if I have to adjust my monitor to decrease its brightness (i.e. turn it down). It is hard to tell how my pics look on someone else's computer. Sometime I feel that I have to decrease the brightness (sometimes saturation as well)on my pics in photoshop. I wonder if they just seem oversaturated and overly bright because of my monitor settings. Do all of my photos seem dark? Your feedback is greatly appreciated! Matt

Mr. Dueler, in "The Golden Bear State," I have done some fair hikes years gone by. One of my hikes was my first-time-ever visits to Canyonlands, in S. Utah. It was a "continuous hike" from 7:am to about 830:pm on a June day in 95 degree weather. I did not see one other person that entire spectacular day! (Very glad I did that, back "then" as, - later on (few yrs.) "the trail-bicyclers overtook S. Utah). I ran out of water that day - and was beat when I got back to my Blazer. It was a big day for (me)! Nothing compared to what others do. I'm humbly intelligent about my own capabilities compared to those human mountain goats! I think you might fit in that class :) I could not guess my distance that (Canyonlands) day (?) - 15 miles plus - I'd guess. I've been to the top of Mt. Rainier years ago. Keeping up with those guides was the hardest thing I ever experienced! I put my hand over my chest hoping to keep my heart from breaking my sternum! :) I think those guides were trying to hike-us-to-death! I did a fair one-day solo-hike in the middle of the Sahara desert too! Took me a little thinking to find my way back out of that forest of volcanic looking (rock) posts and sand dunes. A backpack and a 3-day hike takes some grit! Mine were all one-dayers. You're doing some treasured hikes down there! Maybe too bad my mind never got pointed in that direction years ago. But, I did what "I did" - and no regrets! Thanks for your comments, me - "Mr. Creeks," - aka Gary.

A belated thank you for your recent visit. I hope you have been enjoying a beautiful end to the year and lots of cheer in the new year.

Mr. Dueler. I appreciate the fact that your so inspired to create word pictures. They take alot of thought to put together just as taking excellent photographs. I enjoy reading any well crafted language that attempts to express visual things into language for mental pictures. Not an easy thing to accomplish. Stoney :)
