That was quick !! - I really like the Cobra car (some blokes with money have them here; fibreglass kit cars). Crazy about good old V8 muscle cars .... which are like hens teeth here. The "Tokyo Drift" thing has set in like rot. Overdone and or badly done Honda's ....

Hi David. Thanks for the great comments on my entries. Re: the Joggins material, the Carboniferous period dates back 290-360 mya, so this particular specimen - probably a lycopod - is definitely within that timeframe. I've been collecting there for many years. Here's a link to the locale and period that might be of interest, from the NS government museum of natural history. http://museum.gov.ns.ca/fossils/geol/carb.htm Best of luck in the challenge. ~ Brenda

Thank you...thank you...thank you, David...I am indeed overwhelmed, humbled and honored to have been featured here today in WS land...As of recently I have been on this wonderful planet of ours for over 70 years, and let me tell you this is the best BIRTHDAY present a YOUNG fellow could possibly receive.... Photography has been my passion for over 50 years now, and just ask my wife Marg, my camera is always part of my dress code, whenever I leave the house...Once again, thank you for your wonderful, gracious comments...Larry in Winnipeg.

>"If I might ask.... who is the Certificate of Appreciation for.... you? One last question.... if I may? Who is the smiling lady on the couch in the picture to the left and behind the monitor, your wife? Sorry about all the questions." - CoA is mine for working as volunteer at Sydney Olympic games. And a smiling lady is my daughter. And old mouse because it's at my office at work.

David, thank you for visiting my albums and leaving your kind comments. I truly appreciate that :) The things you asked about... that girl on the rock is a good friend of mine, and the picture of me was taken by my father. I put my camera on a tripod and he just had to push the button. Have a nice weekend, David. Martin

I was a bit excited this morning to see that one of my sunset photos is featured in Travel-Oregon today! http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2052501100051354762AWnGRa Also, I uploaded five new sunset silhouette photos of Judy (and Oshie) last night in my new SUNS OF SEPTEMBER album (first 5 photos), and want to enter one in a silhouette contest. So I am asking all my friends for feedback on which one is their favorite. If you have a moment or two I would sure appreciate your input. Thanks! ~Randy
