Hi Chaplain Rusack: Thanks for the pictures for A Co. It's been a long time. Unfortunately for me, my son isn't in any one of them, but that's okay. I told him to look into the camera next time. Thanks for all you do and the inspiration to our troops. They will need God and whatever his disciples can do to keep our soldiers safe during this conflict and those that are impending. I, of couse, as a Mom, hope that my son will not be one of those who have to go to Iran, Irag, or Afganistan, but if he does, may you keep him in your prays and may God look over him as one of his children. Ihope I am able to contact you when I need a little boost in my faith. Our faith is challenged daily, but even more so when we cannot protect them the way we did when they were tightly tucked in their beds. Thank You.

CHAPLAIN RUSACK, There is a RUMOR that you are leaving FORT BENNING? Is this TRUE? We really are hoping that it isn't, cause we wanted to Thank You in Person, for ALL THAT YOU DO FOR ALL THE FAMILIES! Please say it isn't so! And if it is so, then I would like to take this opportunity to say, YOU MAY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS WEBSITE MEANS TO US. IT IS SUCH A GIFT 'AS YOU ARE'. AND WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM AND TOP OF OUR HEARTS FOR 'EVERYTHING'. AND FOR HELPING OUR SOLDIERS WITH THEIR JOURNEYS, TO SHOW THEM THAT IT IS REAL, AND THAT "GOD" IS WITH THEM. I JUST CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH, "THANK YOU VERY MUCH". DEBBIE & ERVIN PROUD PARENTS OF PVT MATT RITTHALER #440 B-CO 2/58 GRAD. MAY 11 2007.

Hi Chaplain Rusack. Thanks for all of the photos. Have there been any pictures taken during A Co.'s training. My son has asked if I could send him some pictures of the Confidence Course, Obstacle Courst, Eagle Tower and Gas Chamber. I told him that you haven't had the opportunity to post those yet as they are posted at your convenience and the pictures are taken on your own time. However, if you know where I could obtain a copy of the group picture of A Co., please let me know. My e-mail address is jgillies49@comcast.net. Thank you for being an inspiration to our soldiers and someone they can talk to when they doubt their reason for joining the Army, feel overwhelmed because they are away from their family and comfort zone, and your advice which I know comforts them in their darkest hour. Proud Mom of PV2 Benny J. Hermanson, A Co., 2nd BN, 58th INF REG. P.S. My name is Janice Gillies

Chaplain, it is truly amazing how you have taken a small, simple gift and used it to touch so many people. Virtually every parent (myself included) expected their young man to disappear behind a curtain for 4 months, but then you came along and gave us a peek behind the curtain. Our sons are doubly blessed by both your on-the-job ministry and this personal one. Our prayer is for your continued well-being and enthusiasm for your mission. Mike and Barb, proud parents of PV2 Chris Berkheimer, RN 402, A Company (May 2007).

Thank you Chaplain. My son is PV2 Adam Daig, Rost #408, C company. The pictures have been like a lifeline to me and my family. We miss Adam so terribly it was just terrific to go through all the pics to find the ones he was in. I am especially thrilled with #409. You must have told him to smile, because he is normally very serious in photos. Thank you again for all that you have done for us. Tammy, proud mom of PV2 Adam Daig

Chaplain I am the proud mother of PFC Aron Karns #223 Cco 2-58. We had not heard from him for about a month and had been watching the website. I did my heart good to finally see a picture of him on the obsticle course. He looks so grown up! We did finally hear from him last week and he sounded great and really loves what he is doing. His entire family has been visiting the site now in hopes of seeing more pictures (he has a huge family). Thank you for doing this as our oldest son was in the Navy and we did not get the care that we have been getting from the Army family. Thank you again and god bless! Ann Karns / Armystrongmom Hoorah!

Just wanted to say how exciting it is to see the pictures of our new soldiers - I of course, am partial to my sons- but enjoy seeing everybody. It's great to see the facial expressions and be able to see what it's like there. Looks beautiful. You'd almost think you were in Colorado (minus the mountains of course). Thanks so much for making this site available to all of us - Barb & Bob D - Pvt. Shawn Dickinson's proud mom & dad

BLESSED CHAPLAIN RUSACK. Thank you for taking the time to take pictures of the various companies and posting them on the website. All the families feel this is their only connection to our sons. It is wonderful to see my son, even if it is the back of his head. I look at those two pictures and feel as if I touch it, he can feel the love I have for him and the warmth of my touch. Through his letters, he has given an understanding what they are going through. It is comforting to know should he find some challenges too hard, he has you to guide him through it spirtually. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU ALWAYS FOR ALL THE SUBSEQUENT TROOPS. Proud Mom of PV2 Benny J. Hermanson, A Co., 2nd BN, 58th INF REG.
