Thank you for your visit and kind words. I am not any more active in the caos of Webshots. I just have my algums under "katifelkai" and this one until the memebership ends. I am now in two other Wonderful photo sites and I am happy that I do not have to deal with this mess. Your photos are very good. Kind regards.

Dear Estela, thank you for your appreciation and your help in finding out the correct name of this beautiful flower. It was in agrden on Lago Maggiore, in the city of Stresa, to be precise, in the garden of the Hotel des Iles Borromees. I will correct my photo comment after your suggestion. Muito obrigado! Greenland is the largest island in the world. Find it on http://maps.google.com/ The ice-sheet or inland ice covers 1,833,900 sq.km - the ice is anything up to 3 km thick and represents 10% of the world's total fresh-water reserves. Yours Tim Greenland

Thanks for the comment...I was wondering what that flower was called and now I know. :) Although from other comments it looks like you know a lot about plants...thanks.

Thanks for the comment Estela. Mount Rainier is a pretty amazing place, a bit surreal, and at 14400 feet, the air is thin enough to notice. Looks like you have done some rock climbing and scrambling too? Nice flower pictures. -Matt
