Hello there and greetings from South Africa. Thanks so much for your warm comments on my Cape of Storms feature - its so rewarding when people take the time to comment on your work. If you have the time, please take a look at my other Cape albums as well: I'm really keen for people in other countries to see the real beauty of my country. Best wishes - Dave

100 fans and friends!! Thank you so very much for being one of them!! In just over a year I have been fortunite enough to have 2 featured albums, 3 featured photos, a creative challenge first place win and handfuls of members choice pics. Sometimes its hard for me to believe at my photography level that I have so many folks who enjoy alot of my work. But It brings great joy to my life that my vision is enjoyed by so many here. The desire and support really drives me to try and do better each and everytime I go out and shoot. Recent pics in my albums I think reflects my efforts. One album especially, Sunsets and Night Shots, which I have created and dedicated to all Webshots Sunset Picture-Takers in August 07’ because of all the inspiration I have gotten from so many members here, it has given me the desire to try and capture something so beautiful and explore other avenues of photography. Its an album that I am proud of and would like to extend an invitation for you to view as I have recenlty added [9/19/07] more to this collection that I think you would enjoy. Link: http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/560301216VGyAnw?vhost=outdoors Please do stop by again and take a look when you have the time. And thanks again for your kind remarks and support, its truly appreciated!!- Angie M.

Dear sweet Paula. WOW! I just read many many lovely, wonderful, sweet and kind comments from you on my Orchids...WOWOWOWOW! Thank you sooo sooo much...it's very kind of you to take the time to go through the album and especially to write so many messages! WOWOWO! about the Hibiscus..they are actually quite easy to grow. They love the direct sunlight. The more sunlight and hot hot sun/weather the better they grow...you can cut them back during the winter and cover them with plastic and they'll come right back for you as soon as it warms up again. Get one bag of potting soil, one bag of cow manuer, one bag of peat moss and a wheel barrel. Dump in the bag of potting soil, half of the manuer and four or five scoops of the peat moss. Dig your whole twice as large as the holding pot your plant comes in...pour the mixture into the hole to cover half of what you just dug up...then put your plant down in it and cover it up with more of the mixture...this is great for roses, lantana, hibiscus..just about any plants, but for a vegatable garden, you'll want to add more manuer and less peat moss. thanks for the wonderful visit...I really appreciate it. Hugs, Kelli

Hi Paula! I will be in troll-land tomorrow night visiting family! But I will not be online much, if at all :-( I was a bit excited this morning to see that one of my sunset photos is featured in Travel-Oregon today! http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2052501100051354762AWnGRa Also, I uploaded five new sunset silhouette photos of Judy (and Oshie) last night in my new SUNS OF SEPTEMBER album (first 5 photos), and want to enter one in a silhouette contest. So I am asking all my friends for feedback on which one is their favorite. If you have a moment or two I would sure appreciate your input. Thanks! ~Randy

Hello Paula. Thank you for letting my know about Led Zepplin performing in concert. I had no idea. I checked it out on the internet today and see that the tickets for their London performance next month, start at £479!!! Way out of my price bracket, I'm afraid. I was fortunate enough to see them in concert in the early 1970's in Brussels, Belgium. I was working there at the time. So I may have to be satisfied with that. I probably paid next to nothing way back then. I have a couple of black and white photos from that concert and memories that I will chesish forever. Robert Plant only lives about 8 miles from where I live. I sometimes see him out and about. He always speaks to me. He really is well liked in the community. Take care. Jayne/England xx

Good morning Paula.Jorja went to the vet to have her 'Operation' and also to have a microchip inserted. She is FINE and is doing very well although her games and play time with Benn have been put on hold for the time being. The Blue bandage was to protect the area where the intravenous tubes were for the op.She wants lots of cuddles and can't understand why she and Benn are seperated. She weighed in at 7.1 Kilos and Benn is 38 Kilos so you can see why they are apart. He is so full on and she is just as rough with him and we don't need for her incision to open .Won't be too long and they will be at it again.Jorja Thanks you for your concern and sends her love.Golden Hugs,Bev and Del.

Sorry that this reply has taken a while but I have been flooded with responses to my rose on POTD and the dozen Member's Choice photos featured in flowers,Thank you for congratulating me on the featured photo.Your kindness and glowing comments were much appreciated. I must inform you, however, that it was the Editors at Webshots that combined my photo with the anniversary of Princess Diana's tragic passing. I too, dearly miss her as she was one of those people with more beauty on the inside than could be seen from the outside. She was taken too soon!!! Mike

Hello my yooper friend! :-) Thank you for your comment on my Lunar Eclipse album! Staying up all night was something I have not done for a long time, and probably will not do again for another long time! I took approximately 240 photos between 2 am and 5:30 am at various settings to help insure some of them would be usable. Then, not being an expert in photo editing, the first collage took three+ hours to make. So after all that time and effort, it was sure nice to get some positive feedback. The images are also being featured in two local newspapers, which is exciting! Thanks again, ~Randy ************************* ************************* * NEW ALBUM NOTICE: You are cordially invited to a special private showing of an exciting new album titled MAGICAL MYSTICAL TOUR. Coastal fog, while having its downsides, can also be a mystical, ghostly, even dreamy and inspiring phenomenon. Its rapid formation, multiple layers, varying densities, sporadic and often unpredictable nature, and ethereal interaction with sunlight has inspired poets such as Henry David Thoreau and many others, some of whose works are included in this new album, along with some fascinating and beautiful images and interesting educational information! Please join me, when you get a chance, for a MAGICAL MYSTICAL TOUR of the foggy southern Oregon coast! Satisfaction guaranteed! Reservation not required. Casual attire and a jacket are recommended.
