P.S. to answer your question about bunchberry, it is a dogwood relative and is also known as dwarf dogwood. The berries are inedible.

Hello Jesi, thanks for visiting my Blacklock Point hike. Blacklock is one of my favorite hikes but that had been the first time I'd been there in early spring. The flower show guaranteed I'll be doing that again! Thanks for your comments. Richard

Hello Jesi, thanks for visiting my Tioga Section hike, I'll have to take you up on your suggestion about painting the kitchen mushroom yellow. And Dollie was not behind me with her own camera. Truly, she fell in the creek and the temps were in the 30's so we pulled out our spare clothing and re-outfitted her and she hiked back to the car and waited for me. Glad you enjoyed the hike, via armchair. Richard

Hi Jesi thanks for commenting, that gay you were talking about was really a gal. She was really a very nice and even took some of the pictues inside of the engine that the parks department wouldn't let me in. It's always nice to hear from you. Norm

Hi Jesi, In my "Big Bird" album you asked about "Rock Concert" and its original. The original can be found, for your reference, at the beginning of my "Constellation Trail" album. Enjoy, Paul

Nope that was me in both photo's. But you knew that. Thanks for commenting.

Jesi, Thanks for the wonderful comments on the mule deer and other Grand Canyon pics. I'm maxed out on friends at WS but if you ask me to be your friend that works. I can respond favorably and effectively to such requests but I can't send any more out. Again, you made my day with your wonderful comments. Paul

Jesi, Thanks for commenting on my photo of the moon taken through the telescope at A Shooting Star B&B near Flagstaff. I have now posted some (much better) pictures that I took at the same time

Hi Jesi, Please accept my belated thanks to you for your visiting of my albums and leaving behind such nice comments during the past two months. Due to it’s too busy for me in the past months to take care of my albums and did not reply to my Webshots friends for their kind words and New Year’s greetings. I would like to beg your indulgence and wish you have a very Happy, Healthy and prosperous New Year-2012.

Jesi, much like you Colorado tugged at my heart strings long before I took a leap of faith and moved to this beautiful state. Several times a year I would travel to Colorado to ski and, with each trip, a part of me always stayed behind when I returned home. It became clear that if the mountains had such a strong hold over me I wasn’t living the life I was meant to live. When the time was right I left family, friends and a good job behind for a more fulfilling life here in Colorado. I never looked back. It was the right choice for me. Follow your heart dear Jesi, live your dreams and have no regrets. Find your peace in this world.

Hi Jesi, nice to meet you. Thanks for your message about my Anzac album. I agree with you that every generation needs to know the soldiers stories and the stories of atrocities like 9/11. I am amazed these days that some Generation Y kids know zilch about the wars (any of them). I guess its also because the history of them is not taught enough in schools much anymore, God knows what the history lessons consist of these days! Most of the young ones here look forward to Anzac Day - because its a Public Holiday, which to them is a day off work. I go to the Dawn Service every Anzac Day here in Sydney and always feel for those poor young boys who headed off to places unknown to fight for their country. Its also nice to see the really young kids there with their grandads and familes, so I know that these ones will keep the story going. Have a wonderful week, Cheers Robyn :)

Hello Jesi, thanks for visiting my little (but megahellacious steep) hike in the North Bank Habitat, your comments gave me a chuckle. If you are out here in the summer, the North Bank is nice and hot, I prefer to hike the NB in the winter when the Cascades are covered in snow. Richard

Thanks so much for your nice comments about the flower and the Rio Hondo. It was a great trip. I saw your comment about did this take money. Yes and no. The cost of the camera can be as big as you want to spend. And the outdoors is free. Tons of our pictures were taken here in Albuquerque. Or just out for a drive. We're learning to keep the camera at the ready all the time. Coming home from the store last week, didn't have it and missed a fabulous shot of the Sandia's covered with SNOW! Beautiful. Thanks again for the encouragement. Ed and I really appreciate it. Hope your New Year is a Happy, Prosperous, Healthy, and Safe one. Dr. Helen of DrHhelen and EdandHelen

Hello Jesi ! Many thanks for stopping by my Alaska album and for the interesting comments. Each season has its own allure. While the summer was more colourful, I am sure the winter scenes with its blanket of snow must have been a marvelous sight as well. Yes, the trapper was home at Wiseman, and was a kind and amiable man too. In fact, he took the trouble of showing us around. Best wishes, Suresh

Hi Jesi, Thank you of the congratulations, what a surprise to be a featured member. I had been on a family vocation for a week and did not use a PC so this was something fun to find when I got home. The deer and smoke photos were taken in Sequioa National Park. Both have full albums here at Webshots.Thank you again, Dan.

Jesi, That old 68 is so relaxing, i take it when I am hurrying to see the grandsons. I ride a Honda Silverwing to Tonitown about once a week, and take the extended ride, back to Elm Springs, by way of old 68 at the east end.

So pleased that the photos of Colo have been a blessing to you. We thank the Lord regularly for the privilege of living in beautiful "colorful Colorado." If you ever manage to make it out our way let me know. Would love to meet you in person. Many blessings at this time of thanksgiving. Warmly, Pat

Jesi.....thanks so much for the look and nice comments on some of my pics. in the Oregon Coast trip album. I think the natures frame one look like hawaii and it is just from a little pull off of the side of the road (101) day use only park...it happens to be my favorite little pull out along there. And the natures support pic. was taken at the same pull out, just across the parking lot. Di.....p.s. like your avatar, the dress is lovely, and my fave. colors

No that’s not me fly fishing but I wish it was. There are a few pictures of me in here some where. Look in YNP Fall 2006, my picture is on the third page titled “My best side.” I think there’s another one of me in there some where but I couldn’t find it. It was nice to hear from you. I hope all is well. Norm
