Ciao Claudia, i tuoi album sono davvero belli ed è un piacere guardarli. Si impara sempre qualcosa guardando le foto degli altri e a me piace scoprire diversi "punti di vista" (inquadrature). Sì, io vedo in giro il più possibile. Appena posso VADO :-) Spesso per "diporto", qualche volta per lavoro. E' il caso del notturno di Berlino. Sono riuscita a rosicchiare un'oretta per vedere il museo archeologico. Nevicava, avevo con me solo una macchinetta compatta (mica potevo portarmi dietro i miei 15 chili di macchine reflex e obiettivi). All'uscita dal museo... vedo quel trionfo di luci, chiroscuri, ombre... Cavolo, quella macchina non va oltre i 400 ISO. E quando batti i denti dal freddo, stare ferma per scattare non è uno scherzo! Infatti la foto è un po' mossa. Ma a me piace lo stesso perché mi ricorda un momento magico, un'emozione. Credo che tu conosca la sensazione... Un abbraccio. Monica

Claudia, I wanted to let you know I am very appreciative of your comment on my winning RWB lighthouse entry and POTD "Standing Tall". THANK YOU! The response has been so very overwhelming that I'm running behind in responding, so please forgive my lack of timeliness. I also wanted to mention that I've been doing what I think is a fascinating photo-documentary of how rapidly the point at which the sun sets, is moving southward since the summer solstice. I added a new comparison photo today in my APPRECIATION! album on page 10, photo number 111. It compares a July 5th sunset to the July 12th sunset last night. There is also an earlier comparison on page 8, photo number 95, that compares June 21 to July 5th. It is really quite amazing how much change there is in such a short period of time. And one more thing... if you like lighthouses I have several albums on them. Thanks again! -Randy

Hi Claudia, as you probably now know I didn't win the Challenge and didn't have a real POTD. It was supposed to be another day's POTD, but it was put up yesterday by mistake. Greetings from Oregon USA Claudia! I had quite an wonderful experience exploring an inaccessible beach yesterday, and I photographed much of the journey so you could join me. Are you in the mood to first see some flowers, and then hike down a steep slope to walk along a beautiful uninhabited Pacific beach with the dogs, at the base of sheer cliffs, stopping here and there to see all the beauty and treasures along the way? Ciao Claudia! Certo, il Ristorante Il Pitosforo e' sempre li' in piazzetta, cosi' come il Puny. Sono i due ristoranti piu' famosi (ovviamente carissimi) di Portofino. Inutile dire che io mi sono fermato in un bar per un'insalata! Era affollata, ma non in maniera insostenibile. Per il resto ... un magnifico week end! Ciao dalla Contea di Orange! Roberto
