Greetings, Claudia. Thank you for your comments on this week's 3 photos--yes, I do remember your pretty yellow mimosa. I've never seen a yellow one. All of ours seem to be pink, lovely things. You liked the picture of the creek and wished for a deck chair. You liked the picture of the creek. My husband, Mac, has just joined Webshots and put up an album of pictures of this very creek. Hi Claudia, thank you for commenting on my "Bishop Ken". The building in his left arm is the Winchester College ( http://www.leafpile.com/TravelLog/England/Winchester/Cathedral%20outside.jpg ) which he entered in 1652. The Hall at the church is called Wykeham Hall after William of Wykeham, Bishop of Winchester. He founded New College at Oxford. The estate, and much of the housing around the area of the church, was built and maintained by the New College Estates. It's all so interconnected and I'm only just finding out all this information myself. Tony.
