Thank you for visiting my turkey walk. I was actualy 20' away at the most. I can walk along and stay with them. I have had them within 4' of me and been in the woods chain sawing trees and seen them and waked right up to them. They know they do not get hunted and are completely used to me. I hope to see them again today in a sunny part of the woods. If so, I will add to this album... Jim

Hi Jade, Thank you for all your comments on my pictures . They are appreciated. Dinner? Whats that. Breakfast, lunch and supper. Maybe it is because my 62 years said it that way. Your not alone. My wife and I are really not like my cartoons. She is a sweet woman and we both like to do the same things. Picture trips included... Jim

Thanks Jade for the comments on my CC Corpus Christi bridge entry. I actually took 3 photos of that ship and yes, it did just barely go under the bridge. I love anything to do with the ocean, ships, dolphins, etc. and the size of that one really impressed me. Thanks, Stormy

Hi Jade! Thanks for returning to the scene of the crime and investigating a little deeper. Your words of encouragement are so kind and I'm so pleased that you enjoy the little things like the "tracked in snow" and the wood close-up. I appreciate you comments so much. Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings. ~Charley

Hi Jade, You commented on my latest fractal album and wondered how it is done. Very easy - just download the Apophysis 2.7 software and dig in. It is such fun - especially if you need to unwind from a busy day. - Best regards, DeeAnne :)

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my walk. The community has some young families, many older and many are second homes for vacation visits. Out of 7 houses on my street I am the only full time resident and I can only see one house and lots of deer and turkey. It is like a little city inside the gates. We pave our own roads and maintain all our buildings and grounds like a city. We just do not have casual visitors riding the streets. Unless the guards have been told to let someone in, nobody gets in the gates. I live 3 miles from one gate and 5 miles from the other gates. We have about 40 miles of paved roads and 300 miles of gravel roads inside the gates. It is peaceful here with no businesses, yet I am 15 minutes from the city and all the stores and resturants... Thanks for visiting and commenting on my numbers rule photo. It is quite a collection and only covers a tiny amount of things that try to rule over us. Just have to be strong and not let them. Joan

HI Jade---thanks for visiting the Looff carousel album. Glad you enjoyed. I loved to ride merry-go-rounds as a kid. Now I appreciated them for their antique art and craftsmanship. You may also want to (if you haven't already) visit the Allan Herschell album. The horses on this one are just stunning with great depth and detail http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562460530CzmaHa

Hello Jade, thanks for viewing and listening to the Eagleriders singing Arizona. Don't worry about English, for most of the people here it is no problem, and the others enjoy the music anyway...Greetz, Tjebbe

Thank you very much for visiting my Home Built Kites album and leaving nice comments. The design on the black poly kites only looks bright when the sun shines into the kite, which is seldom. :>( I was working at NASA when I took the picture of our test area.

Jade, I wasn't trying to say that there was anything wrong with the images you had. I was looking at the spiral you had made with the pages and thought it might be cool to have them spriral out of the corner kind of like it was going on forever. Of course these are just my opinions or what I might do if it was me. They are still gorgeous, well exposed images.

Hi, Jade. Yes, I thought the idea was only pictures we took that week were supposed to go on Weekend Walk, too. Since we live out in the country and it's been a nasty, cold, icy winter, I've used my own acreage until I'm sick of it, even shooting out the windows one week. I love my yard, but enough is enough when you're sharing pictures. Maybe I'll use some old hiking shots out of desperation. I hope you get to keep your access to the brook. We enjoyed walking to the one near us for 10 years - couldn't afford to buy the 10 acres when it was sold. Once it warms up (we're expecting a high of 4 F today) I'll have to ask the neighbors if I can go take pictures. Hope your walking partner gets the knee replacement and all goes well. Most of the people I know who've had one say their only regret was not getting one sooner. They seem to be up and around fast. Waiting for spring <-; - Chris
