Thanks for your nice comment on the photo of the top of the huge cross. Yes, the kite is my own design. It is basically a sled kite, with two innovations. The slits in the lower edge, and the circular vents under each spar. I hoped they would let it fly well without a tail. The one, visible vent looks like a blue polka dot with the sky showing through. It is the one touching the orange polka dot. I used a plastic tablecloth with polka dots on it for the kite sail. - - Brian

Hey Jade, I finally got to check out your slideshow today. You had the same experience I did; loss of quality. What a shame WS can't seem to do anything about that. That was a beautiful album anyway. Love all those gorgeous flowers just by the highway. If you do post to Youtube let me know. I have been thinking about that too. Just another time-waster, huh... I haven't been taking any photos lately, so need to get out among em again. I saw an album on Flickr with colored backgrounds for the circles. She said she used Photoshop (just in case you want to check into that). Thanks for checking out my sunset album...love your comments. I'll be waiting to hear what's next from you. Take care.

thanks Jade about comments on tags, I have been going mad with frustration lately, have tried all sorts of variations but to no sucess. So yes after you said, I noticed the mistake, just hope that was all ,but don't think so, as none of mine have gone through for a couple of months now,but have not checked before as been too busy, but was wondering about lack of contact with the usual crowd. Once again thanks from the other side of the world Cheers Thomo

Hi, Jade! Thanks for the suggestion of viewing your album via slide show. I very rarely do that, preferring to view each capture one by one (which is time-consuming, at best). So, aside from a small proofing and editing job today (private work), I'll definitely revisit you! Looking forward to those "surprises." Greetings from a rather cool Israel: we're even colder than NYC at the moment! Hugs, Miriam

Dear sweet Jade, your remark regarding this fallen tree was so funny! You made it sound that I've almost arranged in advance for this tree to fall in order to have it photographed for the CC!. I adore your sense of humor! Yes, I will follow your advice and post it in the next CC! And if by chance I win, I will hold you entirely responsible! Kind regards from Montreal, your friend Annick

Hi Jade, good morning..:) Thanks a lot for your visit to my Keukenhof album and the wonderful comments you've left...:) Now I'm gonna try to answer some of your questions...Keukenhof is a Spring garden, around the middle of May they close this garden and they dig everything up and out and start to create new designs, and put new grass and bulbs in before Winter. About that flower arrangement:I don't know what is holding the stems in the middle up..? At the Dragon design there was a platform, but it was not high enough to see the whole dragon through your camera, unless you had a wide-angle lens..:)I don't have that...:)And about that Lime tree:I don't think it still produces limes...have a great week, cheers,Henri
The butterfly magnolia is perfect for spring. thanks for your thoughts. Joan

Jade, you are so funny... my ice covered little oak tree 'bowing to the CC rules of horizontal pictures' Good comment. I, too, noticed that it is hard to find a tree by itself, then take a horizontal picture of ONE tree. That is a challenge indeed. Thanks for looking and commenting on my entry. Marie

Thank you for commenting on my upside down tree. It is located in an artists retreat. I assume they did it as a conversation piece or "art" I just wonder how they managed to turn it upside down and bury it deep enough. And yes, it certainly looks like a giant birds nest but they are actually the roots.

Did you ever notice all those deer albums I have. They are on the other side of the 5' tall wood horse pasture type fence around my entire yard. Three dogs on the inside and up to 25 deer at a time on the outside. They stay there even though I know they could jump it in a heart beat. My problem is the rabbits eating my Dianthus. Before the fence the deer ate anything they could wrap their mouth around.

Thanks for the comments. It is actually 3 computers and one TV. The far computer has two screens on one computer. I have two 22" screens. Lots of room for multiple programs to be open and viewable at the same time.

Hi Jade, thanks a lot for your visit and the lovely comments.About that piece of art in Helsinki,Finland. No one climbs it, I'm sure it isn't allowed to do so anyway. But I don't think yougsters do that...not even if they are drunk. The would climb a statue or jumping in a fountain though..lol.Have a great week, Henri.
