Hi, Sam Thanks a lot for your very kind comments to my winter photos. My English is realy my, not Google. So, if you do not against, let us use English, because Google Russian sometimes is not understandable, sorry. Thank you again, I really appreciate you comments. Marina

Hi, Sam Thank you for the comment to my Snow album. I've added to these album three photos (they are not mine), just to show real SNOW. You can have a look at them, I would like to hear your opinion. Msrina

Thanks for the comments on the Glass. Yesterday I was wondering where to get entries. Today, I might put up an album just on glass because I have so many. Watch for the weekend walk this Friday.

Hi Sam...thanks for the latest looks and comments....a few notes...That tailight is on a 59 T-Bird....George has completely restored it....two tone Forest Green and Gold. That "Art museum" work...this was actually laying on it's side and that brush was stuck to it, that's actually fiberglass on a piece of linoleum laying outside georges shop. I just didnt do the right angle to show it right. I really like the rock formations across Utah, makes me think of Arizona minus the red color. Thanks for the nice comment on the view outside Morgan. I was on the freeway....boogying as I do, and saw that view...lucky for me there was a little turn off to get under the overpass and park and get the pic.....I like that one too ;~}

Hi, Sam Thank you very much for the kind comments of my Winter Forest photos. These photos were made in the middle of Siberia, in Krasnoyarsky Region, not far from Enisey River. Usually we have rather long and cold winter there about 8 months long and temperature about -45C and a lot of snows&. The Russian word for such great forest is TAIGA& Thank you again. Happy New Year! Marina

Hi Sam, Thank you for all those wonderful comments on my HDR album. I really appreciated all of them. As for the winter picture it was a couple of years ago and we haven't seen anything like that this year. Yesterday the temperature was 60 and today its nice out. Not missing the snow at all. Hugs, Linda

Thank you Sam. Snowing is falling right now. But there is not too much snow so far. We actually have a great winter ever here. Hopefully the weather will be wild like this till April. Have a great day Sam.

Thanks so much for viewing my glass entries for the latest challenge. I love paperweights also. My son blew glass in college, I used to ask him how they did that kind of thing. We laugh about our first little blown vase costing $10,000, his cost of college that year. I should have taken some shots of his vases. He also made some neat drinking goblets, some of which he has now taken back. Indian giver. We love him anyway. Joan

Hi Sam.....thanks for the look and all the messages on my recent Oregon Coast album. You know what? I do think the things we put on our rearview mirrors are a window to our soul...or past!!! uh hum!! I had quite the past and new the mushroom quite well, and that is all I am saying about that...tee hee....and I think Walt Disney fantasia makers had a lot in common with me...anyway. yest the ocean is cold in Nov. all the time really, the pacific is just down right cold...a few years ago Geo. took me to Miami to swim with the dolphins, a dream of mine and it was a birthday gift for me....that ocean was pure heaven...so warm. Neptune beach is my fav. place on the coast from Lincoln City to Florence...it has it all. the forest with the little funny liberty cap mushrooms) and the steps down to the sandy beach. That is also where the picture that you liked with the natural frame looking out across the water to the cliffs is, just across the parking lot. And then the bridge is there too and you can walk under it and follow a little stream up into the forest. I love the Oregon Coast, and the fact there are two sons and their wives and some of our grands and one great grand there, it is very special to us....now I want to go there....see ya later, dont worry I wont lie and tell ya the water is fine.....

Just read your comment on Merry Christmas, Darling. I really appreciate your thoughts. I too, thought about just capturing an image that has not been retouched. There are so many wonderful ways to change things now, but the original is kind of nice also. Thanks again for your comments. Hope you have a wonderful New Year. Joan

Thank you Sam, for your congratulations on my Ravenna picture. I was really surprised because they even sent me an email once on my night shot of the coliseum saying the resolution wasn't high enough. This would have had to be the same as it was a scanned slide then uploaded to the computer. Amazing. Thank you again for for comments, old is not always bad. (Since I am also, I really believe this. Old has lots to offer.) Joan
