thanks Sam for stopping by and seeing the residents at Nampa park...Aflac..impossible places to reach, I now have my own wooden back scratcher....and I always know where it is, and the spot it needs to itch. I had fun in the park that day, I needed a nice mellow break and just sat on the ground and took it slow, and oomph'd my way back up when it was MY time to leave, nice. Di

Sam, thanks for all the nice comments on my U of W album the cherry trees are unreal when they are in bloom there, it is a sight to behold, as you can tell by all the people shooting pics of it, my husband works there so we always know when the blossoms are a their peak. I also wanted to tell you that the crape myrtle you commented on does grow just fine here, you must have the misconception that lots of people on the east coast and south have that it is cold here. Actually we very seldom get snow and it rarely freezes, if it gets below freezing that is really unusual and only lasts a day or two if it does happen. We get a lot of rain in the winter, but it is usually low 50's in the winter. If you look at y garden shots you will see, almost anything grows here, and I have had the same geraniums in my garden and on my porch in pots for over 4 years. thanks for looking and taking time to leave me all the nice comments, I see you grew up close to me, I am from Minneapolis. Now it gets cold and snows there!!! Good reason to be from there and here in this beautiful place, hugs Rhonda

Hi Sam, Not so sure about the quilt made of old golf towels and trousers - if yours are anything like my husbands, they are pretty skanky by the time they've had their life-span! He is a crazy golf nut too. We live about 5 minutes walk from his club. What handicap do you play off?

Hi Sam, Osprey are amazing arent they!!!This one came quite close to me trying to get me to leave and then took a different tactic of flying into the distance to get me to go farther away. All the time I thought there were babies in the nest and found out that it was a mate. I was so pleased to see a mating photo, didnt know I was even getting one till I saw the photo, not very good clarity but I still got it. thank you for the look Sam. Di

Sam you asked me if I was in the water when I took the shot of the heron catching the bullfrog, actually I was on the other side of the lake, I was amazed how clear and sharp it turned out, thank god for a steady hand!

Hi Sam Thank you for visiting. I'll let you in on a secret. The water in front of the Irises is a little Photoshop trick of mine - it was so dull:-). Yes - Clematis is a spectacular flower that comes in many colors.
