Thank you for your kind comment on my recent POTD. The reaction to the picture has astounded me. Many people have done versions of "Boat afloat on still water" and I have been looking for an opportunity to add my own one. And on that particular day there it was: interesting colours, sea nice and still, light strong and clear. I took about a dozen shots, and posted a few of them on WS. This one was cropped very slightly to get rid of some rocks, but is otherwise just as it came out of the camera. Thanks for viewing and for being so encouraging.

Hello, First of all thank you for visiting my site and I wanted to mention that camping in the USA is just that. Those units you saw in my shot are all movable units. In other words cars or trucks pull them and people own them. At our state parks you can only stay for two weeks at a time and then you have to leave. It's just great fun camping right on the waters edge. Looking right behind the units is the Grand Haven Lighthouse and of course the sunset. Awesome. I was in Sweden less than a year ago. But only went to Stockholm and Visby. Love your country and especially loved Visby.

Hi. Thanks for your comments. Our winters are not cold compared to yours. We get snow 2 or 3 times a year, but it usually only settles for a day or two. Winter temperatures are usually in the 0 to 10 degree C range - which is cold enough. The rest of New Zealand is a bit warmer.
