Thank you to everyone who left their kind words and support to my photograph "Pa'ako" in the Creative Challenge. My thank you message is written in the Hawai'ian language. It translates into English as: "Greetings to (name). Thank you very much. No kind deed has ever lacked its reward. May you always have good fortune. Come visit!"

I'm glad you enjoyed my album and the aquarium as well. I did know it was the Waikiki Aquarium but that's not really a city, it's a beach so I figured the town it's in would be more relevant to a person not from here. I just think of it as town and rarely go there. The last time I went there they had a nautilus tank with babies. Which display did you like the best there? Mahalo for your complements, Brenda

Thank you for the wonderful comment on the Covered Bridge. North Georgia is full of surprises. I found that there are 12 covered bridges in Georgia. Some are within 40 minutes to and hour from my house. More places to see and photograph. I never knew these existed until I found a site on the web.

Hi Clark, This was our trip to Silver Flals in several years. I would love to camp there for a couple of days and be up for first light each morning, camera in hand, of course. I was GREATLY regretting not having my tripod with me on this trip! HOw could I have forgotten it! Maybe next time. Aloha, Randy

Clark, I have been searching for a way to thank you for the technique you suggested in the HDR blog post about using one photo, copied, and then using Photomatrix to set the exposure rates in making an HDR image. As I take a lot of handheld photos, it is hard to take bracketed photos. Also, as we get a lot of really windy days, I was getting ghost even when I was taking tripod photos.

Clark, thank you for the wonderful comment on my photo of the Oklahoma City memorial. I found the memorial to be very moving, a fitting tribute and I value your opinion since you visited it too. Judy of North Carolina

Clark, My name is HM1 Brian Reynolds. I am a Career Counselor at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. One of my Sailors is retiring and was stationed aboard USS SALVOR. I am trying to get two command coins (not that I think that is possible) for the retirement ceremony. But I have run into a large road block in my quest considering the USS SALVOR doesn’t exist in the same capacity. I saw your pictures of the command coin and was hoping you can point me in another direction on how to procure such enigmatic creatures. I am more than willing to pay for all costs regarding this endeavor. If you can give me some direction on this issue I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you. Brian

Clark - Thanks for the kind words on my Courthouse Album. Glad you enjoyed the trip down memory lane. I am trying to see all of the wonderful courthouses that Texas has to offer and hopefully this album will continue to grow with time. Thanks again, Ray.

Thank you very much for your two comments on my image of Leshan Giant Buddha, one of which is dedicated to the description of the image (which is really quotes from Wikipedia and TravelChina). I am glad that the image with its description helps people appreciate the image in its fullest. By the way, It's a bit tricky for non-Chinese to address us Chinese. My full name is WONG Kam-ming and I'm a man nearer 60. WONG is the family name. Kam-ming is a common male first name. 'Kam' means prosperous and 'Ming' well-lit, hence bright and shiny (in respect of one's future). On first-name basis, you may address me as Kam-ming (not Kam; but then it is extremely friendly to call me Ming (without Kam), the second and last character of the first name), or KM, as some foreigners may prefer to do by referring to the initials of the two characters of the first name. Best regards, Kam-ming, Hong Kong, China

Dear Clark, I deeply appreciate your wonderful comment in my featured album, Panagbenga Flower Festival album (3 days ago). Though the photos were taken a year ago, I could still remember how exciting & fascinating the event was for me since it was my first to actually see it. Imagine my surprise that you seem also fascinated by the colorful photos after all this time. (Amazing is the wonder of frozen action & detail caught by the camera!) Your feedback is truly heart-warming & inspiring. Thank you so much for those encouraging words, my friend. From our warm Philippine shores, I wish you happy & bright days, and God bless you! ~~~Mary Ann P.S. I most certainly enjoyed reading through your profile, especially about your occupation & lovable "pets"!

That's fantastic news about your new career! I'm so happy that we were able to help kickstart your dream! I'm sorry to hear that your hard drive was stolen though. That's awful! BTW, if you don't already know, you can back up what you've uploaded to WS through the Webshots desktop software. Just log into the tab, My Files Online with your member and log in info and then click on the lower right hand link "Back up your files". I believe files up to 2400x2400 are able to be backed up this way.

Clark, I am pulling out all the stops and going for it. Here is the link to my contest entry. Send it around to friends and ask them to send it to their friends, as well. I'd like to hear what people think. I'd like to see if we can get this image out there world wide. vfa_115_sr@yahoo.com http://www.flickr.com/photos/srapada/3219460154/
