The people of Edmonton should be very proud of them selves for hosting a festival such as this, showing such diversity of Cultures and Creeds in one place in peace and harmony. You can see it in the happy faces of the crowd in the background of the shots and in those shots you have taken of the crowds. Each photo has a quality of it's own. Beautiful people, colourful costumes and very Cute Children. Good composition and clarity of shot.     • Hi Nancy, The festival is held every year on the August long weekend (the first weekend in August). The festival has a website at: http://www.heritage-festival.com/ Don PS. Next weekend is the Edmonton Folkfest and Cariwest, the Caribbean carnival (I have an album of that annual event also on my Webshots account). Edmonton is sometimes called Festival City.
