These are some wonderful shots of Oahu. I am glad there are people like you who are willing to go up and take them for the rest of us. Personally, I wouldn't dare get into a helicopter or airplane unless I knew the pilot and his or her equipment REALLY well. Thanks for sharing them.

Oahu: thank-you. I have not been to Oahu for 14 years, but have a vacation home on Maui. We were thinking of going to Oahu, but all I could visualize was high rise apartments near Whykiki beach (pun intended). Your pictures have changed my mind and my wife and I now will plan to visit there. North shore, I remember was beautiful, from both shore and from a wind surfboard looking back toward the island.
