Album Description:
On July 15, Hurricane Claudette struck the Texas Gulf Coast at Port O'Connor. A few of us went down to Port O'Connor to experience a landfalling hurricane. The storm peaked with recorded sustained winds at 96 mph and gusts to 111 mph (at Seadrift, TX).

awsome album. unless someone has ridden-out a "storm" they can't truly appreciate the absolute raw power and energy they possess. Certainly brings back vivid memories and images from other storms: Hazel, Donna, amd Andrew to name a few. Thanks!

Hi! My niece sent your album to me and since I live about 60 miles from where all this took place I can sure relate to it. We did go inland to wait and see what Claudette would do and saw a lot of damage on our way back home but thankfully nothing happened where we live. Not even much rain. Jean--Aransas Pass, Tx.
