Thank you for the tour .. I was holding my breath though most of it. You guys had your work cut out for you. Very inventive with the sled and all. I'm surprised a wild cow & bull didn't tear that trailer up! Thanks for sharing, cow hunters!

Great Album, One thing I have learnt about the USA is you never know what is around the next corner ..Every State has so much to offer and alot more to see than I would expect ...Thanks for sharing and proving there are cowboys in every State not just Texas ...You have some lovey working horse in this album too..Shirley

Hi Judge; What an interesting album. Most of us never get a chance to go on a Cow Hunt, Round-up or anything that even remostley resemble anything like this. I can see that it must be very hard work with the heat and all, but what an experience. Thank you for documenting this. I found it to be fascinating. Thank you for sharing. Best Wishes, Marjie (just south of Seattle in Olympia)

I just viewed your albums and learned about the Florida Cracker Horses..I didn't know of that breed let alone the story of the Cow Hunters. I live on a cattle ranch in Nebraska, and our "hunts" look totally different, with the landscape. We have rolling sandhills where you can see a cow for miles..I don't know how you would ever find a cow in all that terrain. Thanks for the story photo's , I'd like to see more of the Cracker horse/cowhunters adventures. Thanks for sharing. Chris

Hi Judge, I just got off the phone with Patrick Smith. I am doing a series of paintings based on his book A Land Remembered, which will eventually wind up in a historical museum that is being built in Tampa. I am very impressed with your website and there are some pictures on there that I would like to use as reference material for some of my paintings. I am a 6th generation Floridian and this project has a lot of meaning for me as the Florida that I grew up in is gone. Sorry for using the guestbook for this but Patrick did not have a telephone number for Judge Bailey.

I had no idea Florida was as much "cowboy" ; as Texas or New Mexico. Your photo journal made that fact so much clearer, and in a delightful way. I especially appreciated the artistic quality of "End of a Hard Day" and "Day is Done". If I ever get some additional time, (HA!) I think I'd like to try to do graphite renditions of those. Even out here, it's not often we get to see these guys (and gals) at work, so your "story" helped flush them from cover.

I publish a magazine, STOCKDOGS, and the next issue is devoted to the Cur dogs. Can you get me in touch with any of the people you know who might like to contribute, or advertise? Judith Selby, 970 533.1375, stockdog@fone.net

I can see why you are a successful story teller, you have done a wonderful job of telling the story of the Florida Cow Hunt in this album! I watched it on slideshow and enjoyed every photo! The scenery is lovely and the amazing photos you got are great. I would like to see this album featured, it is unique!!! Thanks for visiting my guestbook, I really appreciate it, Candy
