Album Description:
Northumbria lies south Scotland and has been the place of many brutal wars over the centuries. Ruins are found everywhere in a stunning beauty of the isolated countryside.

Thanks so much for sharing your album of photos of Northumbria! I have been mad about the place all my life and if you love it, it stays in your blood. Thanks for the trip home. Rhiannon USA

A very interesting album with great photography. Just loved the lead photo. Thanks for the arm chair travelogue. That is one of the great things about Webshots. We get to see photos of some great places that we will never be able to visit. Donna/NY

your photo of lindisfarne catsle has a certain look to it. kinda forboding. very nice. were you actually going for that look? if your interested in castles and the like, you might check out the marsden achives. simon marsden is a photographer who has some excellent photos of the castle, as well as others on his website; it's one of my favorites. cindy.
