  • Craig - If you visit South Georgia - don't come in May ! It may be beautiful but it's the hottest month of the year. It was 100 here yesterday and looks like it will be again today ! *GASP!* Being orginally from Upstate New York, this has been quite shocking for me !! LOL ! I do love being outside in shorts in December, but seasons like 'Spring' and 'Fall' just aren't what they were in NY ! Here we have Summer, 'Mad Dogs & Englishmen Only', Still Summer, and Late Fall *after the leaves are gone.* Then it goes directly back to Summer ! It is 90 degrees from March or April until May when it hits 100, then it drops back to 90 until late October or Novemeber when it drops to about 60-70 until February. February & March are between 70 and 80 and are when I would reccommend visiting ! April at the latest ! This April was actually on the cool side *a mere 70-80* ! Gardening is a challenge here ! And of course this year we are having a serious drought on top of the Sun and heat !! Enjoy the weather you have there my friend ! The grass isn't always greener !! LOL !!! - Pat
